Report Claims “Funny Girl” Producers Originally Wanted Lady Gaga

While Leah Michelle is getting rave reviews for playing Fanny Brice in “Funny Girl” on Broadway, one report claims she wasn’t producers first choice to replace Beanie Feldstein in the role. In fact, a Broadway insider claims they really wanted Lady Gaga for the part.

Broadway TikToker Sweaty Oracle tells “Rolling Stone’s “Don’t Let This Flop,” that the show is cursed “because they didn’t wait for Lady Gaga to open up her schedule to do it,” adding, “That’s where it started.”

The TikToker adds, “This production originally, they reached out to Gaga and they were never gonna give her enough money to star in this production. Look at what the set looks like. They don’t have anything close to Gaga money."

Why Katy Perry Doesn’t Have A Full-Time Nanny

Katy Perry is a busy working mom, but that isn’t stopping her from being as hands on with daughter Daisy as possible. In fact, the singer says that while she has help, she and fiancé Orlando Bloom do not have a full-time nanny.

“I am working a lot, and I’ve always worked a lot,” she says on the “Smartless” podcast. “I have a wonderful nanny, but I don’t have a full-time nanny because I feel like if I had a full-time nanny then I would never be able to know how to care for my daughter like I’m meant to.”

And if she isn’t working, she’s on mommy duty. “It doesn’t matter if I’ve had a show that goes to 11 p.m. the night before, I’m waking up at 6 o’clock and we’re gonna go and do breakfast,” she said, adding, “And yes, I have the no-sleep shakes, but I’m doing mom mode today.”
