At a pre-Grammy event, Bebe Rexha performed “Meant To Be” and when the audience didn’t sing along, she stopped the song and had some choice words for the crowd of (mostly) music industry people.
Bebe said: "This song was No. 1 for 50 f--king weeks. You know what? I work too f--king hard for this bullshit, okay?”
She then went on to say, "I worked too hard for this moment.I’m from Staten Island, New York, and I'm standing on this stage, thank you very much. Call me whatever the f--k you wanna call me. Yes. I'm a big bitch right now. Go ahead! You're gonna sing the f--king words if you know the f--king song. I don't care.”
After her rant, Bebe turned to her band and asked for them to start over and try the performance again- this time with a little audience participation.
