XXXTentacion's alleged murderer is in police custody.
The suspect is 22 year old Dedrick D. Williams. He was taken into custody by the Broward County Sheriff's Dept. last night around 6:30PM and booked for first degree murder.
During a vigil that took place last night in South Florida, XXX's mother told family and friends she'd just gotten notice from police that they'd made the arrest.
Police investigating the case connected this guy to the murder by using evidence obtained from witnesses and surveillance tapes.
It is not clear at this time if another suspect remains on the loose, as we initially heard there were two suspects.
XXX’s ex-girlfriend — whom he allegedly assaulted daily, threatening to cut out her tongue and rape her with a barbecue fork — says she is “broken” by his death.
Geneva Ayala said on twitter, “I lost someone close to me. Leave me alone.”
