Disney just made a long list of announcements at its 2020 Investor Day, including updates on new Marvel, Star Wars, and Disney Animation studios projects, as well as updates on Disney Plus and Disney’s other streaming services.
Highlights from the Marvel Universe...
Black Panther 2 will NOT recast the late Chadwick Boseman’s King T’Challa. The film is still set for July 2022.
Marvel Studios said they're developing a new Fantastic Four movie and announced a third Ant-Man film is in development starring Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Michael Douglas, and Michelle Pfeiffer. We also found out Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 3 will come out in 2023 accompanied by an I Am Groot series of short films. And they gave us new trailers on three Marvel series on Disney Plus: WandaVision, Loki, and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. All three will premiere in the first half of 2021. In the second half of the year, we'll see the premiere of a bunch of new series including Hawkeye, Ironheart, Armor Wars (Iron Man spin-off starring Don Cheadle) and the animated What If?

Disney announced Hayden Christensen is returning as Darth Vader in the Ewan McGregor Obi-Wan Kenobi series and they unveiled TEN Star Wars series coming to Disney Plus:

Three Star Wars crossover shows: The Bad Batch (animated), Andor, and The Acolyte
A Droid Story featuring a new hero alongside R2-D2 and C-3PO

As far as Star Wars movies, Wonder Woman 1984’s Patty Jenkins will be directing the next Star Wars movie, Rogue Squadron, due out in December 2023. Disney also discussed the untitled Taika Waititi Star Wars movie, first announced in May, that had already been in development. Additionally, Lucasfilm said the final Indiana Jones is now in pre-production and will be released in July 2022 starring Harrison Ford.
