Michigan State football coach Mark Dantonio took to Twitter to announce his retirement. After 13 amazing seasons, he will step down as head coach. In his years he made a mark as the Spartans’ winningest head football coach with 114-57 record. "It has truly been an honor and a privilege to serve as the head football coach at Michigan State University. I will forever be a Spartan," he wrote.
In his social media post, he shared a statement where he said: “Today marks one of the most difficult decisions that I have ever made here at Michigan State. I would first like to thank our fans, alumni, and our administration; both past and present staff and especially our current and past players and coaches for all their support, hard work and dedication over these past 13 years.
