Kylie Jenner and Demi Moore had a slightly "awkward" interaction at this year's Golden Globes on Sunday (January 5) evening, and the entire moment was captured on camera.
The video in question featured Moore, who had just won the award for best performance by a female actor in a musical or comedy, greeting individuals at Jenner's table, including the two actors sitting beside her.
Moore shared a few kind words with actress Elle Fanning and Jenner's date, Timothée Chalamet, but did not engage similarly with Jenner when she spoke. The Kardashians star leaned in to congratulate Moore and tell her that she looked beautiful, and Moore seemingly brushed off the comment and opened a conversation with Fanning instead. Immediately after, Moore skipped over Jenner and addressed her date, who was sure to congratulate the silver screen queen on her latest achievement.
After the interaction, Jenner turned back towards the table and did not attempt to engage with the actress further.
Moore scored a golden globe for her standout performance in The Substance, and gave an emotional speech relaying how far she'd come since the beginning of her career, per USA Today.
"Thirty years ago, I had a producer tell me that I was a popcorn actress. and at that time, I made that mean that this wasn't something that I was allowed to have. I bought in, and I believed that, and that corroded me over time, to the point where I thought a few years ago that maybe this was it. Maybe I was complete, maybe I've done what I was supposed to do. And as I was at kind of a low point, I had this magical, bold, courageous, out-of-the-box, absolutely bonkers script come across my desk called 'The Substance...'"
