The 1st major announcement? All 3 students, Arielle Anderson, Brian Fraser, and Alexandria Verner will be awarded posthumous bachelor's degrees in each of their areas of studies.
Second, the campus realizes that with so many memorials that popped up around campus (like The Rock, Sparty Statue and both the Union & Berkey Hall) they didn't want to just get rid of the flowers and items. They wanted it to mean something, for it to be used as part of the students' healing. So the flowers have been removed & will be made into mulch to be used to plant a memorial tree outside of Berkey Hall & the rest of the items have been given to the MSU Archives and MSU Museum for what sounds like the start of a permanent memorial.
