As someone that works in the entertainment business where you have to be quick on your feet and also have done stand up comedy, I can tell in this moment that Chris Rock had a comeback ready... and stopped himself. I am not sure what it was... but you can tell it was something that would have roasted him.
He did the right thing by making a joke to fix an awkward moment, but I bet this will come up in his upcoming stand up tour.
I think there is a lot wrong with what happened and as an entertainer/fan of stand up comedy I did notice this moment that could have shifted the entire outcome of this all.
