As if we needed more of an excuse to hit that Wine Down Wednesday or lose a *little* bit of what happened on Saturday night, a new study from the University of Oxford says going out with your friends twice a week is good for your HEALTH! This is healthy, girlfriend! .
The study found that having a large and well-integrated social life gives you big ups when it comes to how you're feeling...specifically:
"People with larger and/or more integrated networks suffer less illness, recover quicker from surgery, are less likely to die — and even their children are less likely to die.”
Now we're just doing it for the kids! I 100% feel the truth of this & they say it works for both sexes. You just feel better surrounding yourself with people that make you feel good!
....So enter this weekend where me & some of my friends decided to go camping in South Haven. After we decided to do dinner out Saturday night, we got changed out of our bonfire clothes & as I whipped off my leggings & turned a bit to adjust my panties....I realized a beautiful family, mom, dad, grandma, grandpa, daughter, were all sitting around their fire pit, staring jaw-dropped at my giant, pale, ass in the windows that I thought had blinds...
Science says nothing about when my health or dignity will recover from this beautiful experience. But back to the important part, call your girls, make that date & post it everywhere :)
