I can't believe this story is true! Superintendent Jennifer Mast in Dearborn was suspended for having a champagne toast during a retirement party. This party was not on school property or around kids. Jennifer said, "It's kind of a tough pill to swallow. We have progressive discipline in the school system and everybody follows progressive discipline, and progressive discipline doesn’t start with a five-day unpaid suspension."
Parents completely disagree with this decision from the board and hopefully she comes back to the school district.
