I gotta say, I was impressed with the stage during the VMA's last night. It was fairly large, colorful, and full of holograms. These are just some of the awesome moments that happened during the award show.
Lizzo telling us to be true to ourselves. Let's not forget that bejeweled Patron bottle she was holding throughout the night.
Taylor kicked off the show with a fantastic performance of You Need to Calm Down & Lover. Her acceptance speeches throughout the night was one of my favorite moments.
WHY DIDN'T SHAWN AND CAMILA MAKE OUT!?!?!?!!
The iconic Missy Elliott accepted the Video Vanguard Award. Her melody (and dance moves) of hits reminded us why shes queen.
Also, did you notice that dancer towards the end? That was Alyson Stoner, the little girl from the Work It video!
Lil Nas X made fun of himself during the into to his performance. I'm here for the futuristic Lil Nas X
Oh, and let's not forget his acceptance speech.....when he pulled out a scroll. Of course that became a meme lol.
And finally, Normani crushed her first solo performance on the VMAs stage. I wish I could dance like her!
