Confirmed, Jussie turned himself in to Chicago police and was charged with making a false report regarding the staged attack, he will appear in court later today. Chicago police Superintendent Eddie Johnson held a press conference earlier today and believes Smollett's motive was his salary on 'Empire' and how he is not happy with it.
Jussie will face jail time and it could be up to three years.
