WYOMING, Mich. (WOOD) — There is growing concern about a growing sinkhole in the city of Wyoming that neighbors say they have complained about for months.

The hole is next to a catch basin grate on 41st Street between Division and Buchanan avenues and is more than two feet wide.

“It gets bigger and bigger,” said Sarah Moore, who started photographing the hole after she noticed it along the curb in front of her home.

Moore said she has complained to the city about the issue that she says is a safety concern for her children.

“Hopefully they don’t fall in,” she said. “[A city official] said ‘Well, there’s numerous ones like that around,’ and when they get a chance they’ll get to it.”
