Four dogs believed to be part of a pack roaming a vacant industrial and nature area in Saginaw have been shot.
Saginaw County Sheriff William Federspiel says three of the dogs were killed by wildlife officers, while the fourth was wounded and likely later died. Federspiel says ``that just leaves one dog.''
A U.S. Department of Agriculture employee spent nearly two weeks tracking the dogs. A trail camera photo showed five dogs in the pack, which is believed to have killed at least one pet dog.
Federspiel says deer moving through the area are an indication dogs no longer are there. Wildlife and animal control officers will decide if the search for remaining dogs continues.
