Expect to find goats in a few of the  Ottawa County Parks beginning next month.  They will live there and, in the hopes of the County Parks Department, will eat the invasive plants, and the poison ivy.

The Holland Sentinel finds the Parks department admitting that no other park in Michigan has used goats to try to control the plant growth.

The Parks Department figures to know if this experiment is successful by July  in   three parks: Bur Oak landing, the Eastmanville Bayou, and Riverside Park.
