Saginaw's sheriff says he's changing inmate uniforms because of the craze created by the Netflix series "Orange is the New Black."

Saginaw Count Sheriff William Federspiel said Monday he's switching prison uniforms from orange to black-and-white stripes because orange is becoming fashionable because of the Netflix drama.

"If you see black-and-white horizontal on someone, they're an inmate of the SaginawCounty jail," he said in a statement.

In red, the prison uniforms read "Property of Saginaw County Jail" on the back.
