Grand Rapids Police have the man they suspect held up an ice cream shop Saturday night.
Woody's Cone Stop on 28th Street was held up at gunpoint just before closing around 11:30 p.m.
Police say a 22-year-old man confronted employees with a gun and herded them into an area where the safe is kept. He tried to get the code, but was unsuccessful.
After being tipped off about a disturbance at the ice cream shop, police set up a perimeter around the store.
The suspect ran out the back of the store where police were able to arrest him; he had a gun and stolen property.
