Actor Philip Seymour Hoffman left behind a $35 million dollar estate. How much did his three children get.
Not a penny. The New York Post reports the late actor apparently worried that Cooper, 10, Tallulah, 7, and Willa, 5, would be "trust fund" kids. Hoffman also stipulated in his will—written before his daughters were born—that Cooper be raised near the "culture, arts, and architecture" of either Manhattan, Chicago, or San Francisco.
Despite his accountant’s desire for Hoffman to set up the trust fund, the will stipulates his entire fortune go the children’s mother, costume designer Mimi O’Donnell, whom the accountant says Hoffman treated "in the same manner as if she were a spouse." She kicked him out of their apartment before he died over his drug addiction.
