The 34-year-old, who dated Bradley Cooper until early this year and spent more than a decade in a relationship with actor-turned-businessman Keith Britton, is certain about that.
"Been there, done that, got the T-shirt," she explains in a new interview with Allure.
In fact, she reveals that she's considered having a non-traditional family, so she wouldn't have to deal with Cooper … or any other man, for that matter.
"[I might] end up with a woman raising my children … that's how androgynous I am," she notes, meaning that she has both feminine and masculine qualities.
The "Avatar" actress also seems to pride herself on the fact that she’ll stay loyal to whomever she ends up with.
"If I have something good in front of me, it doesn't matter if it's a person or a pair of shoes, I'm not going to test something else," Saldana declares. "It's insecure and it's immature."
The "Star Trek" leading lady is equally insistent that women take charge in other areas of their lives.
"It's OK to say, 'This is what I want' -- and go after it. And if it doesn't happen, it's OK," she advises. "Be a reasonable person with yourself."
