Diddy's Revolt is live. Hip-hop mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs launched his new music television network Monday night with an intro from outside of the home of late rapper and pal the Notorious B.I.G.
Diddy, who recently topped a "Forbes" list of the richest hip-hop artists, says Revolt TV will showcase artists from a range of music genres, including hip-hop, electronic dance music and rock.
This summer Combs said the network would be geared toward young people, adding that his mission was to "get kids back to TV." The channel also launched online Monday night, though with a few buffering issues that interrupted the live stream.
On cable, Revolt TV is airing on Comcast and Time Warner Cable in more than 20 million U.S. homes, including major cities such as New York, Los Angeles and Chicago.
